Based in Sweden, Mullvad VPN offers a single subscription option at a flat monthly price. This simple, fast VPN service costs €5 (about PS4.15) per month, regardless of how much time you pay for.
While Mullvad VPN is a great option for keeping your data safe while browsing the web, you shouldn’t use it while using streaming services like Disney Plus and Netflix.

Unlike many simple VPN services, Mullvad has superior security features that use RAMdisk servers throughout the infrastructure. This means that the server software runs entirely in memory, and in the event of a computer shutdown, there is no data that can be retrieved from their hard drives.
Mullvad, a Swedish company, has made privacy its main statement. While local laws aren’t as privacy-friendly as those in other jurisdictions, Mullvad says he’s committed to his no-logging policy and provides specific information about laws that could cause problems. The transparency he has shown is admirable.
As with many other VPN services, Mullvad licenses its infrastructure to other companies, notably Mozilla VPN.

All my testing was done using a virtual machine that was physically located in a London data center with an internet connection. This setting provides optimal connection conditions. VPN clients are tested against their default settings.
Mullvad’s throughput test results were significantly higher than the average for all other countries, which was especially true for endpoints in the Netherlands and the UK.
However, you’ll need to use split tunneling to use most streaming video services while connected. Netflix, iPlayer and Disney+ do not require VPN users to access them. Mullvad is not interested in competing with specialized VPNs that can redirect to different regions.

Mullvad is among the fastest VPN services on the market, and it’s really nice to be able to pay for only as much time as you need without incurring any penalties. It takes security seriously and is easy to use on any platform.
